ReplyDeleteIn a former life, I once asked a friend what he would do if he found a flashlight he didn't recognize laying in his car.
He almost instantly said "I guess I'd turn it on and see if it worked".
I told him "Think real hard about what you just said".
I think I ruined his day.
Yeah, actual thoughts hit sheeple pretty hard ... when/if they actually have one.
ReplyDeleteButtons are made to be pushed. But I'm older now and always make sure that I can get away without being recognized before pushing strange ones.
ReplyDeleteAs a teen though, my favorite one was that red one at the base of every escalator...the one that brought the escalator to a dead stop, to the surprise of all on it.
I got very good at feigning the same look of surprise.
