If I were the Devil...

There's been a lot of chatter about Paul Harvey's "Farmers" soliloquy on the Super Bowl ad for Dodge...

Here's another one-  Originally done in 1965, this version is probably from the mid-90s...

This one is really eerie when you consider what is happening now 18 years later...

  1. The pattern isn't new. But it works.

    That is self-evident.

  2. Used to listen to his news broadcasts every day on country radio as a child. Didn't know what conservatism was back then, but thought he made a lot of sense. He was the only conservative voice on radio, pre-Rush.

  3. I've heard this many times and it is freaky how close he called it.

  6. I remember listening to Paul Harvey all of the time with my dad when I was younger. I loved listening then and still enjoy hearing him now. His sign off in that video just brought back memories of Saturday mornings working outside with my dad. I surely know who made me who I am today and it mostly wasn't me. I wish parenting today was what it used to be.
