Yeesh... Another week from hell...
Short trip, PITA, lousy hotel (anybody tried finding government rates lately???); POS compact rental car and three people plus luggage...
And back at work today spent about six hours in a meeting discussing Proton whistlers, micro pulses, Schumann resonances, and Hiss beams…
Actually, I spend 'most' of the day sitting in the back, leaning against the back wall, balancing a cup of coffee on my lap and trying desperately to NOT fall asleep. Oh yeah, and 'brilliance' does NOT mean one can actually communicate...
I am now 'wired', have a headache, and have to go deal with physical therapist that trained under De Sade... sigh...

At least it is Friday.
ReplyDeleteYou mean that there are PTs who haven't been trained by De Sade?!?
ReplyDeleteWhere are they?
I thought you were kidding about government travel in the previous post!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you ended up home after your travels. Hang in there, enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteWSF- Yeah, thankfully!!!
ReplyDeleteScott- Not that I've found!
Liberty- Nope...
eia- That's the ONLY good point! Gun show tomorrow! :-)
You sure do know how to have a good time! At least you're back home again.
ReplyDeleteSorry. I hereby give you permission to take the weekend off...if 'they' give you any problem have 'em call me.
ReplyDeleteHope the weekend is relaxing.
ReplyDeleteRev- Yep for a whole 4 days... sigh
ReplyDeleteStephen- Can I, can I??? :-D
45er- It BETTER be... LOL
Bourbon is good for dialing down the wired bit. ;-)
ReplyDeleteJoin the Navy and see the world.
ReplyDeleteRetire from the Navy and see the world on a budget.
Well, welcome back home, anyway!
ReplyDeleteMay your weekend be at least as fun as your week was a pain!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back home. Your mileage my vary. See local store for details.
ReplyDeleteALL OF THE THERAPIST I have encountered trained under De Sade
ReplyDeletePTs...heh.
ReplyDeleteLimp in, crawl out.
Yeah, been the PT route. After several months (don't ask, I am medically retired) it gets marginally better.
ReplyDeleteWhat? No jacuzzi and glass of bubbly overlooking Vegas?
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah, I never caught those trips when I was traveling for the gummit, either.
BP- I did Scotch... :-)
ReplyDeleteTim- Yep... sigh
drjim- Thanks!
Wing- GUNSHOW ;-D
Keads- Yeah, but what is 'local' anymore???
Rick- Concur!
Skip- You got THAT right! :-( It'll feel better when it quits hurting!
Don- Thanks, I TRULY hope so!
PH- Cheap beer and standing in the shower... sigh...
scotch and a hot tub will make it right...
ReplyDeleteDon't forget when you book your travel you now have to know ahead of time if the hotel/car rental/restaurant will charge that post lawsuit fee of a few cents for using your mastercard as they don't want to pay for it.
ReplyDeleteBrighid- Got the scotch, no hot tub dammit...
ReplyDeleteBrigid- Oh damn, you're probably right!!!
