I know I'm not a biggie in the blog world, but I do appreciate all my readers and commenters. I'd been wondering why things seemed to have 'slowed' a bit lately, but it wasn't until I saw Peter's blog post HERE, that I realized it wasn't just me...
It appears applying Peter's formula of 1.61 X Sitemeter actually puts me OVER 500,000 page visits, by about 97,000. Now I'm embarrassed that I didn't check more often and keep up better.
I would like to just thank all of you who stop by and read the brain droppings here. I know they're not necessarily well written or particularly 'deep', and I don't have a consistent theme and I don't post boobs, but I REALLY do appreciate the feedback and enjoy reading your comments.
I do try to respond or at least acknowledge each one, but sometimes it's a bit trying, especially when I don't have a computer handy. And I've made some great friends both in meat space and via the net, and enjoyed blog meets, blog shoots, mini-meets and dinners while on the road.
That is special, and I thank each and every one of you!

ReplyDeleteAs regards, “…wondering why things seemed to have 'slowed' a bit lately.” It is the final turn in the Election 2012 “Silly Season.” The other day, when USCINC Obama was down here in Florida kissing babies and the derrières of elderly lady voters in Palm Beach County, I saw a Baby Blue & White painted Boeing VC-25(747-200B) parked on the ramp in the VIP spot in front of the Patrick AFB Tower. My guess is that Uncle Sam’s Big Brother has re-tasked his Internet Tracking analysts off “Pry It From My Cold, Dead Hands!” you, onto trying to root out and turn up any actionable negative information on “felonious” Mitt Romney. As a result, they have sparse little time available to surf over and make their daily visit to read OldNFO.Blogspot.
It's always time well spent - looking forward to many more posts.
